It is something that I personally observed here in Japan recently on how trends has been shifting around.
Dating
This trend is shifting rapidly. Work place problem or not be able to find someone they like. This might goes into personal ideal but just in general.
There might be quite a few reasons behind it which include:
1. No weird Rumors
I know no one want this to happen especially in your work place. If you are 100% sure that you can stay along side with your partner well, then that is great! But things spread fast. I do think that people here with the extremely low rate of getting the job itself will want bad rumors about themselves going around and force them into depression or even leave the job. Again, there are many people who married their partners from the same company. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
2. Jobs
I kind of wrote it already.. But yea, because people in Japan are trying their best to get jobs, it is very hard for them to lose it, especially female.
3. Online dating
This might sound scary, but yes, it is true. With all the lowering chances of meeting partners, people tends to go online more often. Along with the increasingly more popular in dating sites. It has become booms now in Japan. This still remains scary no matter what though.
4. Gaijin
Lately, Japan cooperates and TVCM, you can obviously see the different. They are using more and more foreigner models in them. One is because Japan lacks people and the intelligence section is dying out due to lack of new generation. But yea, there are more foreigners in media commercials and companies.
5. Wedding
I do think that everyone knows that the population in Japan is decreasing rapidly. Many of the wedding companies are trying to promote themselves as much as they can. The wedding ceremony fliers or posters are almost everywhere in the trains. They are trying to promote people to get marry and well... ultimately have more kids....
There should be more into the topic and I might be wrong as well. This is just what I think that it might be the factors for this topic. Hopefully, Japanese population will increase !!!
