FOOD PORN - 1 - Bitter Melon Soup and Fried Rice

*Yawn* おはーよーーーーございます。Ohayougozaimasu. Yes that’s good morning.

It is around 1 am for me while I am scrambling out words for this post. This will be my first FOOD PORN!!! YEY!

As I said food porn, it means Food and por.. no it means food pictures that look (or might look) nice and yummy and makes you hungry.

Sadly that what I will be mostly showing here is the food I made.. or if I have enough budget, I will be posting the food outside. If I do have that money…

Else!

It will be the food I make myself.. just to spare my life for the heck of it. The taste? I can guarantee that my food never fail… Never!!!!!

I can sense that This is going to be hella long post, but heck, Food is Food.

Let’s get this going before I actually fall asleep.

First of all, this is bitter melon soup..

BITTER MELON SOUP… Yes, you read that right.



Some people might think that bitter melon is not good with soup because it is bitter and ew. Well, no.
The ingredients for this soup, I will list them roughly down below..with the price approximately price tag!!!!

2 bitter melon 150 yen each
1 onion 30 yen?
3 small leek 30 yen
Pork rib 500 yen
Rice noodle 1 pack 150 yen
Mincemeat 200 yen
2 pill Garlic 5 yen!!!!

With these ingredients I can eat them for around 7 meals.
*What is good about this soup is that it is extremely healthy! Why? All those veggies. Because I let it steamed for a very long time, well, many times after I eat, the veggies get softer. At the moment (after 4 meals) I still have half the pot left and the bitter melon can already crackdown in my mouth right after I bite it.


NEXT!

This will be food for my lunch box, BENTO! Self-made bento is awesome as it is because its , not cheap , but I can taste my own taste and not the convenient store food. Not too expensive and not too cheap.

The menu for today will be

VEGGIES VEGGIES and THAI FRIED RICE



Ingredients are as follow:
1 egg
Half a broccoli
Half a paprika
Rice ( I am using Thai rice because I have some left, Jasmine Rice, YUM)
Garlic
1/4 chunk of Meat (500 yen)










I separate them out as shown in the picture above.

HEY! What good about this is that I have more than HALF of the remaining.. So I can nom it again for either breakfast or dinner. With the soup of course!
